I have not shot one of those exact models yet, but I have played with 2 different sizes of it. I'm a very nit-picky person and have to say, every aspect of that gun is very well thought out and perfectly positioned. Much like your Biller, you will likely have your Koah for another 15 years as well.

The ability to switch from free shaft so quickly and effortlessly is one of the main things I really love about that gun. Give John Ippolito a call or message him on facebook. Maybe get your name and number painted on beneath the epoxy coating.

Ive been wating a dedicated scuba workhorse gun for those commercial days where shooting line is more of a time waster then anything. Koah Battle Axe is on the top of that list.

I know you have shot a lot of different guns. Have you tried a Koah Battle Axe? Thinking of retiring Ole Faithful. A 54 Biller LTD paduak that have had for 15 years or more. Death Stick,Bonafide,Koah have enclosed or semi enclosed tracks. Best feature is the quick free shaft to line shaft change. 90 percent of the time I am free shafting here off of St.Pete. locally or the MG. The other 10 percent of the time a quick line shaft change would of been good. For AJ,cobia, etc. in the water column or a fish back far in the ledge. Thanks.
