Re tail lift leaving the mech with lighter shafts - I shape my muzzle slots to keep the bands as high as possible and in line with the shaft, working with dense wood helps as can slim things right down up for’d. Just shaping vitex muzzle for the carbon pipe now
Hi Majid, I hear your concerns to avoid politics, and many thanks for the offer to access the video link, which i promise not to share. PS my Albacore in teak is gorgeous, not sure when i will have next good visibility in Panama to try it out... ciao Stefano
Hi Majd
I am sure thousands of your fans are waiting eagerly for the videos of the tests you did with the italian guy from Deep Blue...please do not keep the suspense for much longer. :-) by the way I am waiting for the arrival of one of the first Albacore 130 in teak.... Ciao, Stefano
Hi spearQ8
Can you tell me if the new ermessub roller trigger mech would fit into my Bleutec oceanborn which is about 4 years old.
Also I'm sorry to see all the crap you've had to put up with due to comments on the seal gun....a gun which I have in 1.1 mt and it is also a huge disappointment in regards to a shocking trigger, the cost and no where near the claimed power in fact my 105 raptor would piss all over it...anyway I've put it down to a learning experience to not believe all the hype a gun designer may tell you!!
Anyway if you could let me know if the trigger would fit and where to source them from it would be most appreciated.
Thank you
Andy

Aloha spearq8! Ive read a lot of the posts recently about 14mm small id bands and want to know if its the same as rob allens 14mm bands? Seems that you are the most experienced and love these posts and vids. Mahalo! Really appreciate all you do! Aloha Maka
I just want to say thanks as well. Your testing and insight help the rest of us out so much. If you told me a few years ago the first thing I would do to a brand new speargun is change out the trigger and take a grinder to the handle I would say your crazy. Now I tell my friends they are crazy for not doing these things. Thanks!
Someone seriously needs to put you on their payroll. Thank you for your insight and contributions to the spearing community. I feel your testing and tinkering is going to make some big changes in gun design in the near future if not already.
