Contd from previous:- So I was back in the water and nailing onos and king macks next day. Then to my dismay, the right side panel in the handle fell out and disappeared...so my gun looks a little the worse for wear right now. Is it possible to get a replacement side panel for the grip??? Also would you like me to send the broken muzzle back to you to check it out...lucky I missed the fish or I'd have lost ther shaft and all!

I have a pack of organic African coffee beans to send you anyway, so if you'd like the muzzle back let me know & I will put it in there.

Keep well, & Happy New Year.
    Daryl.

Hi Angela, How are you keeping? Long time no chat. I'm just back from a month in Mozambique - awesome as ever - and prior to that a trip to Latham Island in Tanzania (where Cam Kirkconnel shot his pending WQR doggie).

I am loving my Aimrite Super Venom as much as ever - it is deadly accurate. However, I had a problem...the muzzle broke off...the plastic/nylon simply snapped inside the barrel when I shot at (and missed, fortunately) a grouper. You had sent me a replacement last year but then I discovered anothger minor problem...the screws used to fasten things have some kind of funny tool requirement, which obviously I did not have in my spearfishing tool kit. I eventually managed to get the screw out with a pair of vice grips...which screwed the screw pretty badly! Next problem was that the replacement muzzle was not drilled...and I dont carry a drill in my travel kit. Solved that easily enough by making a hole with a red hot nail! Contd:-

    Hey Daryl!
Wow, nice fish! We caught 3 really nice wahoo as well, they went over 40lbs, but this was trolling. Rick's new knee is doing great, he is still doing a lot of Physical Therapy, but we managed to get in our kayaks for a quick spear a few days ago, and it was actually ordered by his Dr. Gotta love that.

I am not sure how much shipping to S.A. would be, I will put in a replacement part to you asap. Can you forward me your shipping address? You can e-mail us at aimrite@hawaiiantel.net

Cheers, and we hope to see ya here one day!

    Hi Angela,
Hope you're well and Rick's knee op went good? I had a disaster and damaged the butt extension on my Aimrite (got caught in the steering rack on a boat). Do you sell replacement parts? How much to send one to me here in South Africa?

Hope you been getting wet...got 4 nice wahoo recently, all over 50lbs.

    Cheers,
    Daryl.

Really? We'll have to go grab that magazine. Cheers for that!
Rick goes in for knee replacement surgery this Wednesday, but he is already planning his next BW trip. And I was hoping this surgery was going to slow him down a little so I could catch my breath...

    Hi Angela,
If you guys get the Aussie IF&SN magazine out there in the Islands you'll see some pics of me with my Aimrite, and positive comments!!!, in the article by myself and my buddy Phil Huebsch on spearing in Mozambique!
Thought I'd give you a heads up so you can see I can be a good guy! :-)
    Daryl.
