    Hafa adi,

the whole tumor bay area is a marine preserve so no fishing there. a decent spot close to where you will be is called Tanguisson beach, its an easy drive below and to the north of two lovers point. (you'll be able to see two lovers from your hotel).
as for rentals I've never heard of anybody renting spearing equipt. i know you can rent normal snorkeling gear from MDA or GTDA but niter one of them has anything for free diving. i would contact Ray flores, he's the owner of Fa'nu'i Spearfishing her on guam, he might be willing to work something out with you. no promises though. you can find his # at www.fanui.org let me know when you get here and i can show you around.

Myself and another spearo are going to be visiting guam for a few weeks in feb. We are coming from okinawa. I think we will be staying at the marriot (close to tumon bay?) and was wondering what are some good spearfishing sites on guam and if are any close to where we will be staying. We plan on renting a car if need be but would be nice to walk to a good spot. Also, is there anyone that rents spearfishing gear. I made a travel speargun from spare parts i have but would much rather rent something on island as I know how military air handles our baggage. Any info/help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
