Hey! I love it, the sup has a lot of advantages. You can see what's going on in the water for a full 360 degrees. I was able to spot a cobia in a pass yesterday, and then it's just a matter of dropping anchor and putting fins on. There are several reefs that I can get to down here in Sarasota, but it really depends on your comfort level paddling. I can comfortably paddle 20 miles if I need to, but I would never try to do it on a board I wasn't comfortable on and that wasn't really a board built for speed and distance. Inflatables are fine for cruising, but I wouldn't want to put seriously mileage on one. ...but that's just me. If you just need to get to a reef a mile of two offshore... probably fine.
