    Depends on location. I used to live on Maui. It looks like you are in FL? I believe that parrot fish are protected down in Florida waters. If you make it into waters where they are not, the are great eating. Uhu (parrot fish) are one of the most popular local fish to eat in Hawaii. Most people steam them with stuffed bellies (Portuguese sausage, onions butter, lemon). They are good grilled or filleted and deep fried. Some people actually do sashimi with them as well. All about personal preference!

    Hey i always see parrot fish when im spearfishing, i was wondering if you could eat them? and if there any good?
