the camera was a laser scope LS-1
it takes e batteries LR44 which are 1.5 VOLT each
in the theory was good ,but in the real world was not very practical and could not penetrate the heavy algea on the lake water
the gun is a long range 165 with 6 maximum rubbers and have not problem to get the fish at 25 foot range ,i did not see any practical help from the laser .
for me the laser is good only for star war movies and that because the very unique of the gun <i dont copy none one ideas>
i dont suggest to you to put a laser camera on your gun
