WSB guide near LA??

Can anyone recommend a good guide in LA or Orange County for hunting down a gray ghost? I am now ready for the big battle.

I've heard Harry @ Freedive & Spear is good.

i think if you can point a gun and pull the trigger you are ready.

Haha yea but needing a guy to tell you where to point the gun seems silly

Bingo! Exactly what I was thinking.

Just get out there and log the time it takes to earn the fish. It will mean so much more if its your accomplishment 100%. Once you get it, please post up "where I can shoot a big white seabass" for all to see

Typical, I just wanted some direction. I have pointed at and shot many fish. I am not from WSB territory. So now when I do get one, I will be sure to post it.

No guide needed. I'm sure if you find a thick kelp bed in your area and dive it a couple times a week till July or so, you'll get lucky and blast a fish or 3. Just dive as stealthy as possible.

But if you insist on a guide, Cheyne from Dana Point Sportfishing charters runs a good spearo operation and usually knows where the fish are. My buddy took a solid fish off his boat last year.
