O'Ahu advice boats/kayak

Moving to Honolulu in July, experienced free diver coming from key west. Comfortable hunting in 70-80 feet. Do most hunt reef/blue water from the beach? Should I get a RIB with a tiller outboard? Kayak? I want to be able to target wahoo, mahi, and reef fish. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Oh also vehicle should I bring a keep or truck with me or just bring the family van and get an island beater when we show up? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you

Why don't you ask Daryl Wong, he lives there and dives all the time, I think he is mostly a freediver. In any event, he would give you some very valuable info.
