Rhode Island Hunting Spots

Hello Everyone, I am new to the sport of Spearfishing but am eager to learn all I can about it. I live in Rhode Island and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some spots. Being a complete rookie I would like to start with shallower water, 10-20' and I'm mostly looking to hunt Tautog. Thank you for all of your help and I look forward to your responses

This is a serious question and I know it's probably a dumb one, but we have sharks?

Yes, but you probably won't see them. Visibility is too bad usually.

One more thing, don't dive alone.

That was supposed to wrap up by May 15, and when I called they told me it was . . . I wonder if it's open this weekend?

Weekapaug cove is a great spot to dive from . Thats where I learned from mostly and I saw a ton of different things while diving there like puffer fish ,pilot fish schools of menhaden, lobsters, skate and the usual game fish .
