Skipjack 20 FT w/ Flybridge
I want a small boat with reasonably comfortable cabin. Can anyone tell me about their experience with a 20ft Skipjack Flybridge?

Re: Skipjack 20 FT w/ Flybridge
A buddy of mine had one of these and it was a great boat. We dove Catalina a bunch of times and PV on a regular basis. He has owned probably 10 boats and the 20' skippy has been his favorite. It had a 6cyl and was not terribly fast or fuel efficient. He later upgraded to a 24' and it was way more boat. I think the 24 is 8" wider and has lots more deck space The cabin, however was about the same size
I have been thinking about a 20' skippy, but with the price of fuel, I have been leaning toward a RIB. Good Luck |

Here's what looks like a pretty good deal from a fellow member in SD.

Ernestos Skip Jack is a great boat. I've dove off of it a lot and $13,500 isa good deal for that boat.
I have 21' Chris Craft Scorpion that I am selling. The boat was restored about 4 years ago and is rock solid. It has a185 Johnson out board that has been completely rebuilt and runs like a champ. It has a lot of deck space and a small cabin that sweeps 2. Please before you buy a Skippy you may want to take a ride in this boat. I'm selling her for $7,000. Call me if you want to go for a ride. After being on Rob's boat I have to agree, that cabin does sweep you pretty good!
