History plays a part in that public piers exception, but mostly the reason they are exempted is you and I (or our ancestors) already paid public funds for that fishing access.

The free Hall Show entry is good for the Del Mar run of show too, so if you can't make Long Beach but can stand up for your sport, use your pass later down in SD.

Hello my free dive friends. We have space for several free divers on an upcoming 6-day trip to Cedros and Benitos down south in Baja. This is yellowtail central, and I'm told great grouper diving....
