I could probably put something together for $100. I'll shoot you a PM in a bit. Let me know if you're interested.

F/S: Captain Nemo #2 blades in Mako pockets; Sporasub Mystic

Making room in the Paypal for all my hobbies. Captain Nemo #2 blades in Mako 8/9 pockets. My feet are too tall for them. The rails on the blades are all new. Blades have been drilled, but should hold...

Re: Mares footpockets for DiveR blades???

Scott, the biggest difference you're looking at is the stiffness of the tendons on the footpockets. The Stingray tendons are pretty stiff, whereas the tendons on the Mares pockets are pretty soft. So...

Re: MAKO Spearguns: What's new?

I Can't comment on any of Mako's fin in particular, but "wear" on either should be fairly relative. It's all in how you care for them. Babied and taken care of properly, either should last you for...

Re: MAKO Spearguns: What's new?

I'd say it's worth a shot, especially with Mako offering to take returns, and even pay for the return shipping!

Re: MAKO Spearguns: What's new?

If you're talking about the Mako Minimus, that's not the one that I have, and have never used one. I have the Technisub version that I bought like 7 years ago, and that has been through the ringer....

Re: MAKO Spearguns: What's new?

I got my El Bajo today. Fit is definitely better than the model from the other company. My big Polish nose actually fits in this one. And the volume may actually be even lower than my Micromask.

Re: F/T: Mako Footpockets Size 8-9

Probably should've mentioned that I'm willing to sell outright as well. $60 shipped anywhere in the US.

F/T: Mako Footpockets Size 8-9

I bought these a while back, and they're just a little big. They've been put together with blades, so there's some super glue leftover, but they've only been in the water once, and have been taken...

Re: Neptonics Spierre Carbon Fins VS Mako Leaderfins Carbon Blades

They're both carbon/fiberglass mixes. The biggest difference you're going to see is in the footpockets and the fit. See if you can't ask around if anyone has either locally and try them on, as that...
