Looking to do a ride-along (gas money to be provided by me) so as to really get a good idea of how it performs in our conditions, without a salesman trying to pitch me the whole time.

Yup, I'm...

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

Went out of NPR yesterday SW in 55-75 fsw. Great conditions above the water. Didn't start clearing below the surface until about 65 feet. Gumbo is gone and algae and snot seems to be cleared up,...

Re: Goliath Rodeo

My philosophy is, "What happens underwater stays underwater." If I feel threatened . . . . well, let's just say it won't end well for what is threatening me.

Re: Goliath Rodeo

I've been lucky and never had one do any of that to me - I make sure of my surroundings and don't spear too near them. I also clip my stringer to my BC. Some people I know leave their stringer with...

Re: Because you cant drown a snapper....head

I insist on everyone who dives off my boat to have a Surface Marker Buoy. The one I insisted that SnapperHead buy about a week before when he dove on my boat might have saved his life. Food for...

Re: Anclote 7/6

Thanks - I have one more opportunity to get out for ARS before closure, so hoping for a good day not too terribly far out.

Re: A little montage video

You are correct.

And zebra, to me, is the best red meat I've ever had - like a filet mignon, porterhouse, and NY strip steak had an orgy which resulted in a baby.

Re: Strikelines Charts

As long as you can then import those Google Earth waypoints/numbers into your GPS, then I'm all for it.

Maybe release Google Earth format, images, AND the corresponding GPX format with just the...

Re: A little montage video

I love that song, and so did my hunting guide in Namibia. He was singing it under his breath as I rested my rifle barrel on his shoulder when I shot my zebra (after a 3 day stalk, during the last...

Re: Strikelines Charts

I think it would be an excellent idea, especially for nerds like me who like to plan out everything and map out areas we'd like to check out based on the imagery.

I think a trip down here as...

Re: A little montage video

I free shaft 99% of the time and carry a spare on the gun - if I wanted to I could attach another shaft holder on the right side of the gun as well

A little montage video

Just playing around with some editing tools - nothing amazing or professional, but thought I'd share.

By the way, language in the song selection is a bit "salty" so make sure co-workers and/or...

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

Oh, quick question - anyone seen a red drum way out far in the Gulf? I spotted a huge one (30+ inches) swimming around the Hole - 47 miles offshore in 75 feet of water. I almost shot it, mistaking...

Re: Strikelines Charts

The lines really help. I haven't had a chance to dive any of the spots yet as most of the areas I've been fishing and diving in this year have not been near the spots. The one place I was near to I...

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

Out yesterday to Tim's Red Hole in 75 fsw - viz has gotten a little worse there with the algae and particulate still running. Came in to 65 fsw and then 55 fsw and viz got worse. Maybe 25 feet...
