If possible, connect shooting line to end of shaft rather than to shark fins or somewhere along the shaft. Makes retrieval from narrow spaces much easier as shaft does not want to toggle. I realize...

Did you state the shaft diameter? 8mm should be good with 3 bands it but if 8.5mm, I would go with 4 bands if you are sticking with 350%

Mane 'N Tail Conditioner works well and it is unscented or lightly scented. Used to use CureCare from Sally's as well. Loved that stuff. Any cheap conditioner will work if you can stand the heavily...
