Re: Fishing for grouper at night?

Great frogging on a new moon! I have a Gamo Whisper Fusion in .22 cal. heck of a frog gun! Use that new moon period and several days after that while it's plenty dark. You can get in some good...

Re: Fishing for grouper at night?

Re: Citizen scientists needed for FWC barotrauma tool study

The results are in. The tool works flawlessly. It's a great addition to any ones tackle box. You will need to dedicate a pole or line for it's use but we'll worth the extra effort. One hundred...

I carry one rock anchor made from stainless steel. This is great for reef lockups. I carry a fluke for Sandy bottom. Both are used with a retrieval ball system since I don't have a windless on my...

Re: Gags on Scuba...

Sounds kinda dumb but I would lie on the bottom near a gag lair and scratch a rock and fan a little dirt in the water. When they slowly stick their head out I would fastly stick them. This trick...

Re: Trade??

Thanks for the offer but I just got debt free by paying off the mortgage so I'm not real inclined to finance the 14. I was hoping for a paper for paper trade. I just upgraded some of my sonar...

According to how I understand it, they need to have an HMS permit and a shark permit to harvest sharks on the recreational level in federal waters. If they are are in violation, that will be the...

Ah, for the good ole days.
I was anchored up on a spot out of Cedar Key and had divers in the water. Several boats came up but kept the legal distance away. We were at the end of our dive, dropped...

You WILL need a Reef permit to take fish using any method, spear or pole. Permits, since the moratorium, have been selling for over6000.00 dollars if you can find them. A sting operation out in the...
