Measure it with a ruler is the easiest way. Do not include the thickness of the outside or inside lining. Also give them a call may be the easiest way to determine the thickness.

I think 2fishin2 is correct.

Take it back and get instruction from the shop before being badly injured.

Correction on prior post Mako uses 1.8mm. The spool I have is from OMER 2.2mm.

It looks like you have the gun strung with Dyneema instead of mono. If it is currently a 6.5mm shaft and you want to try out 7 or 7.5, must take into consideration the thickness of the line attached...
