Do you (OP) have any felony convictions? If so, you can't get a passport. And if the border guys type in your name, it'll probably pop up in bright red colors that you're a convicted felon....and WHY...

I landed that fish using that system, but as Jon (Behslayer) said, you do run the risk of losing the whole gun and rig. I don't do blue water often, but when I do I use a breakaway with two wraps....

I can't really see in your picture. Are you using a double wrap of shooting line? Or are you attaching the floatline to only one wrap of shooting line?

Although it's a good idea anytime you're diving, staying with your buddy and diving one up, one down helps a lot if there are other boats around. You have eyes on the surface then at all times.
