Yeah I'm sure you are right and it did not look like he was hurt. I was just surprised no one instinctively grabbed the dog by the collar to hold him back, considering the ferocity of that mofo.

Probably some med diving. Fish were shot at 120 feet after lying motionless on the bottom for 3 minutes.

I found a mossy princeton shockwave led whiel ab diving a few years ago. I flipped the switch and it fired right up.

I had a switch issue with another light and the princeton guys sent me new...

I have a shockwave and it is a great light, but for bugs I find the UK Mini Q40 eLED+ to be more than adequate and much lighter to swim around with.

Your best best for good diving conditions is to either drive south to Monterey/Carmel, or if you want abs, drive north to Sonoma county.
Both areas have plenty of easy safe access for beach diving....

yah I was thinking about just diving the reefs, sans gun and then finding a boat to take us out to bluewater for spearing. I have heard the reefs are pretty challenging.

I am staying in Kihei for a week, starting August 9th with a few buds. We are planning on bringing longfins and mask/snorkel, not sure about bringing guns.

Have any of you guys done any spearing...

I have used a few plastic blades, FB, FB/Carbon and full carbon.
I am been using mares carbon for the last couple years and I love the fins and the foot pockets. I consider them one of my favorite...

That's interesting. I just read an article two days ago that said it was looking like a small to moderate el nino. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah I know it doesn't increase the amount of O2, but when I can't get in the water for a while, it helps "remind" my body/brain of the feeling of not breathing for a while and I think my bottom...
