Re: carbon finns for shorediving ?

I believe those fins are a mix of fg/carbon, not full carbon. I would not worry about them for shorediving. I shoredive in my carbons all the time.

Re: Update on MLPA wordsmithing, regulation changes proposed.

I'm confused about this one:
2. Amend subsection 632(a)(8)
This subsection will be amended to clarify that spearfishermen may transit, with or without
catch, through MPAs and other MMAs. The...

Yeah that's what I thought when I saw it a couple days ago. They did not put much effort into making it look legit.

Re: Lobster Cards... How much is too much?

A full card: "These guys are raping the reefs. We need to decrease take."

A mostly empty card: "These guys raped the reefs and there are no bugs left. We need to decrease take"

Re: Cabezon Nesting

What's worse? Shooting a male that is guarding a nest or shooting a female who spawns several times a year? It's the nature of the sport. Killing a fish means that fish won't breed. I'm sure the...

Re: 2013-2014 Mushroom season

I only grabbed a few Kings this year. No rain and then it got cold. Even the muscaria which are usually everywhere are barely showing.

Re: Cabezon Nesting

Re: Is a 36" AB Biller too big for a total spearfishing newbie?

A 75 or 90 is a good size for norcal. A 75 will be easier to manuever into cracks.

Keep...

I increased my static time by about a minute, however I did not notice that the things I learned in class translated into longer or deeper dives while spearing. The safety stuff is probably good to...
