Re: Tonga Gear Advice

I seem to recall it was in the low 70's (72-73) but often overcast. Many of us who neglected to bring 5 mils wore double wet suits. Brown camo will not be a problem.

Re: Dead fish, not the good kind

Its truly uplifting that grey2112 finds this issue so humorous. I suppose New Port Richey is immune from the recurring effects of flushing Florida's largest toilet. Our "scientist" took offense to...

Re: Dead fish, not the good kind

Great, then we all agree that flushing the Okeechobee toilet into east and west coast south florida is harming the gulf and ocean ecosystem. Which I think was the point being made by the OP.

Re: Dead fish, not the good kind

Strange question for a "scientist" to ask. We all have a dog in this fight. Your credibility is lost on me if you are saying the huge discharges from the lake are not affecting the ecosystem.

Re: No more hogfish in Atlantic Federal waters this year?

I have to agree that hogfish are over hunted and the size limit should be increased. BUT this rule is to "protect the snapper and grouper population" hogfish is neither a snapper or a grouper.

Re: Anyone ever take a trip to green turtle cay in bahamas?

Shore diving is best accessible from the middle to the north end of the Cay. The sharks are aggressive and it would not be unusual not to make it back with your catch. Do NOT string your fish up...

Re: Anyone ever take a trip to green turtle cay in bahamas?
