Good question it is all a formula it depends in the visibility your in diameter of shaft and course diameter of rubber and ammount of bands, that's why practice is great, you get to know your guns...

Nice fish for sure, cobia very docile towards the surface i've seen people shoot them from the boat and get them. When their is one their is another, cool pictures.........

Looks like a sweet trip. It gets very choppy in the winter time so freshwater seems like a good alternative for alot of spearo's down here, thanks for the show and tell.............

I think your idea is great, i work offshore but when i'm in i can shoot up and show you some welding no problem. Best place to look for materials is construction sites they always trough away good...
