That pic...that isn't a banana leaf...just sayin', but that's alright...saves dirtying a dish, eh? I've cooked with banana leaves before when stuffing, wrapping a whole pig in leaves, and burying it...

:) Yea, one of the thought processes I go thru to is to bring the experiment to absurd levels in both directions in order to create an outcome that is more easily understood. I didn't have to do this...

Yea, I gave up. I thought he might be trolling me after I understood what he was implying. It's all good. :) I don't think muscle force can be accurately modeled by Hooke's law...it's a lot more...

Cutting it apart and rejoining it won't have any significant affect on k spring constant.

You keep saying "linking rubbers together", which is confusing. Unless I'm misinterpreting your original explanation, "increasing rubber size" is a less confusing description and easier to do.

What you're proposing is the same thing as doubling the mass of the rubbers your using. You end up with a jerky shooting gun. A long smooth pull makes shots more accurate and is a more efficient use...

This is a cheap/easy solution for a boat as well...just run the power cord thru a small hole and use fire retardant sealant. One would have to find a way to keep the inside from overheating....

A counter mounted meat grinder makes short work on conch. I also use the meat grinder offshore to chum with.
