Diving the floaters is fine, just don't start your drift too close. If you aprox too close to the rig they will get on your assistance and try to make you leave. Don't do it, 75-100 yards is good...

I've bought along my dive/spearfishing gear on fishing trips to the floaters more than once but when you have a shark eat a 150+ pound tuna off your line it kinda takes your courage away if you know...

Don't aim. Stare at the spot you want to hit and let er fly. Sounds stupid but it works. Spearguns are not rifles, more like a recurve bow and require instinctive shooting. So just like everyone said...
