Ran due west from Homosassa. First drop in 50' vis was a hazy 10' no hogs or grouper. Decided to run out and try 60 and 70' depths. Vis improved to 25' plus but still hazy, lots of small filaments of...

Homosassa 6-24-21 spearing

The plan was to go out to 50' to 60' but it got bumpy so we stopped in 30' shallow reefs. Vis was 25 plus until the tide started in and the current started ripping. Vis dropped to 15 or so. Spent all...

Re: Anclote 6/20

Nice haul. The last carbo I've shot (or seen) was maybe 10years ago. We did an easy limit of hogs Saturday, they seemed way more plentiful than the last couple of years.

Re: Out of Homosassa Saturday 8-25-18

Your day is coming soon Grey, looking at my calendar now to plan dive trips for the rest of the warm weather. Maybe into early Nov.

I know I owe you a trip and a ride on a cat boat.

Re: Out of Homosassa Saturday 8-25-18

My wife's camera has a good strobe setup that brings out the natural colors. The camera also "sees" much more than the human eye.

Re: Looking to buy used Steel 100+ HP tanks

Eric, I went to HP 100s last year. Love them, longer bottom time and you can ditch 7 lbs of weight.

Re: Friday June 1 roll call

Plans made, gear ready. Scouted out 3 places in 30' to 40' before the storm came, insane amount of gags. Just need good seas and vis for Friday.
