I am going to advocate learning to shoot how you fight. The rig you have now, if you are comfortable diving it is fine. Long hose gets tucked in belt, or routed under right side pocket with shears...

Unless you count the 10 lionfish I saw, it was a ghost town. The resident jewfish was also makeing itself scarce. There is a wierd grapple with a weight and about 6' of galvanised 3/8ths chain...

There are alot of different paths to deep water. The point is you need to learn and understand the whole depth thing to make an informed choice about how to conduct your dives. Real tech training...

The killing spree continued yesterday as I boated another epic taug and a flatty that went 26 inches. I heard someone was at sunset scale with a cobia they had shot whilst free diving?
