There might be. Check West Marine once you get into Florida (or they may have Florida maps in SC) for Tops Spots maps. Those are pretty helpful and clearly denote boundaries.

Last couple of years august has been crap. It seems to me that the vast majority of the bugs get picked up during mini season. You can get them on either side.

I've been. Thats where I shot my first fish! A 15-20 pound mutton. We were on the south part of great exuma, I think. We didn't go any deeper than 20 foot. Who are you going with?
