I reckon forget the T laminate, doesnt look as good and doesnt really add much.

You should try and copy a riffe euro size.
I think they are about 28-29x 39-40mm.

what did you use to measure it, did you measure the exact same spot on the wood.

In metric (I cant believe yous still use imperial????) thats .05 of a mm or 50microns. A human hair is usually more...

1/2" plunge bit with a long shank for neptonic triggers and line anchor.
8mm-9mm bit for tracks. an oversized track does not affect accuracy and it just makes it easier to load.

Or do the whole lot with a router and clean the ends with the mortising machine

I dont think theres any use using a bungie without a breakaway, as the gun in tow will put heaps of pressure on the fish not the float.

I have a eurp with twin 16s and they are both loose, still heaps of power with a 7mm shaft.
