Re: Finished my second build - 29" midhandle

8 feet is probably optimistic. I use 2 16mm at 350%. I took a bass at at around 7 feet this past weekend.

Re: Finished my second build - 29" midhandle

Fits a 5/16 modified JBL 28" shaft for days where I can only see 2-3ft. But I have been mostly using a 3/8 shaft 36" when I have vis. I like the overhang for aiming and the heavy shaft punches...

Re: Dirty water Midhandle build

Hey Ric,

Little of both. I could not find anything I liked for NJ's always bad visibility. No one seems to make midhandles as compact as the one I made. Also where else do you get abalone inlayed...

Re: Daily Vis report thread

Ha, yeah that was me! Thanks for the heads up on where to drop in the inlet. Way to deep for me, but that's where I picked up my striper.

Re: Daily Vis report thread

Went out Saturday at 11:40 before slack tide at Barneget inlet LB side. Vis was 4-6ft south of the inlet, picked up a trigger there. In the inlet boat traffic had the vis down to 3-4ft. Took a 29"...
