Traveling with Spearguns/Gear

I made one of those out of pvc pipe it works well but is a bit on the heavy side. Removing the handle and reel became a nuisance for me. Switched to a sport tube 2 which I prefer. It was good for a...

Re: Pathos trigger Booster kit is here

That is lovely news! In that case I will save myself the effort of tinkering and wait until your solution is available. Could we expect that trigger before next season let's say April or is that too...

Re: Pathos trigger Booster kit is here

If that is correct that would be stellar! The season is over for me so I could wait a few months. Can anyone confirm or elaborate? Thanks.

Re: Pathos trigger Booster kit is here

I hate the trigger on my Pathos Sniper roller. It is a nice gun otherwise but after only half a season of use the trigger starts to feel increasingly hard to pull and the gun is only 95!
The upgrade...

Re: Considering buying a Salvimar One

Update:
I don't think Salvimar is a bad brand, I would love to have one of their smooth skin suits and love the noah mask I have.
But..
My other friend just told me his salvimar one watch just...

Re: Amberjack headshot

Really? I was planning to go there this year but I am going to Gran Canaria instead. I think I will put it back on my list! I have been around there many times before but never spearfished. I love...

Epsealon wetsuit review wanted

I have been diving one for almost two years. Really nice quality warm Yamamoto neoprene. Bought it in Europe and it was super cheap since I have it I really question the high price of other suits ....

Re: More about the inverted polispast rollers

I am not sure that is the case but if it was that would make this discussion even more interesting since there are quite some polispast builders out there that are located around the Mediterranean...

Re: Considering buying a Salvimar One

I love the Drake since it has many features that are easily accessible. So many alarms. Different diving modes. And special training modes that you can program to your needs. Besides diving in open...

Re: Considering buying a Salvimar One

Two friends of mine just bought one some weeks ago. One of them is working fine the other broke and stopped responding in a matter of days. Customer service at Salvimar has been less than satisfying....

We can all go to DeeperBlue which is well moderated, is international and has a good spearfishing section.

Re: Thoughts on Abellan Albacore 130 vs Bleutec Oceanborn 125 & King Cobra

Aren't the bands slightly angled 'downwards ' to keep the shaft on the track? If they are perfectly parallel could this potentially interfere with accuracy? Maybe in that case there is a potential of...

Thoughts on Abellan Albacore 130 vs Bleutec Oceanborn 125 & King Cobra

It doesn't even look as if they are really parallel to the shaft rather stacked on top of each other. Rigid metal wishbones might help but even then it doesn't seem that the bands are truly parallel,...

Re: Inverted polispast 110 camo

Re: Thoughts on Abellan Albacore 130 vs Bleutec Oceanborn 125 & King Cobra

I was just discussing an order with the guys at Bluetec and it is no problem to have the trigger set back to 60-65mm.
I have relatively small hands and requested that specifically.
Anyone...

AND

What features exactly are to cause the shaft to exit straight without deviation with roller and polyspast systems? (As cleverly mentioned by Majd previously as such an important feature. )

Re: The Evil Twins

Nice! First you show the guns, then a pool test and then the catch. I am impressed.
How do these perform without a kicker band? I like the simplicity.

Same here. It is sad though. I wish there was a way to mute the political section. It is rather disturbing. Administration, are you reading this?

Re: Freedive Watch/Computer - Suunto D4f vs Oceanic

I would recommend my Cressi Drake above anything else. Especially if you want to use it for training too it will outperform the other two by far.
