At the risk of sounding ignorant here: the article read that the crew turned their back on him for one second to get some oxygen, did he have a buddy with him, next to him, near him? It makes me rethink the way we dive on many boats, how we exit the water, who watches out for who...REGARDLESS of experience level...again at the risk of sounding ignorant, I as a Toronto native am even more saddened that this may have been easily prevented??? Kind of at a,loss here with this one...prayers and thoughts to the family and friends...a big loss for all of us who share his passion for protection and awqreness
