Re: Cape Town Yellowfin Tuna Open Tournament

For you guys who left early and heard the Aussies and Wolf were staying on to try for tuna after the comp closed...they went out yesterday, about 15 miles I hear, and were hammered by the wind and waves and had to return to port, no diving, no fish. Last I heard they have thrown in the towel and returned home. Zak and I are about 500 kilometres up the coast and waiting for Tommy B to join us tomorrow for some yellowtail spearing up here, but the sea looks pretty dirty with a big swell running at present, so we may even can that idea and continue northwards, where we hear Aliwal Shoal south of Durban currently has 100 foot viz and warm water...

I will be back hunting tuna in Cape Town with Virgili next month, so with luck we will post some pics of BIG fish after that...
