Lionfish Handling Workshop - Fort Lauderdale - October 13/14th

Greetings Lionfish Enthusiasts of South Florida and beyond!

Please join REEF and Divers Direct in Fort Lauderdale October 13th and 14th for a lionfish handling workshop! This FREE event will teach you al l about the lionfish invasion, lionfish biology, venemology, ecological impacts, current research, and how to properly collect and handle lionfish. The workshop is MANDATORY for those who would like to participate in accompanying lionfish dives aboard the American Dream II. There are two half days of diving aboard the American Dream II: Saturday October 13th at 1:00 pm and Sunday October 14th at 8:00 am. The dives cost $60.

This is a great idea wish there were more around...the more the public knows the more they will participate in lionfish control
