Costa Rica?

Hey Guys

I'm going on vacation to costa rica. The spearfishing is great(I have a house there, so I've been there before), but I don't know any regulations. Anybody have any info. I know some places only allow pole-spears.

Re: Costa Rica?

spearing is illegal on scuba. All dive shops will tell you it's completely illegal but it's not. We speared every day from the beaches/rocks in the play flamingo area, and also hunted with multiple locals that we met out there.
