Finally a trip out
Took a week off and stayed on the Island. Had a great time even though the weather allowed only 1 dive trip. Big Sheephead were everywhere as usual this time of the year, and it was easy to get a limit. My biggest one weighed 9.4.
Got most of them with my Gat Ku 9'er. I have become addicted to the polespear, KC |

Nice one Keith! Only a few ounces off a Polespear world record. I know there's some double digit ones around

I am going to try again next weekend if the weather permits. I had several in the 8 to 9 range. KC |

More from today. They were a little deeper than last week.

Nice work with the polespear!
Almost picked up a gatku in the classifieds the other month, but seller decided to keep. I've been wanting to give up guns for a little while to improve skills with the polespear. |

I love it. Probably will only use guns for blue water for a while. Don't think I am up to trying for Wahoo or Tuna with a pole spear yet. |
