SW out of JP 5/11/18

Seas were pretty calm as we cruised out at 35kts.. Water depths dove were: 42',48',55',58'. Top to bottom till 58'. Horz. vis. 25'-30'. Lots of small fish. Only 1 lion fish seen and brought aboard. That area was empty of lion fish and big fish. Green snot was covering the ledge in 58'. The others were clear. Thermocline in 55' and 58' at a depth of 30'. Warmer water working its way down. Will check dive computer sat, and report water temps.. Maybe, we passed the fish on the way out or they are in deeper water or north. Good luck'. Update: Bottom water temp. 73F.. On the way up at 30' the thermal was 75F.. Your body can feel the difference.
