Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

My wife and I were diving in Westport last weekend and viz was a solid 15 - 20 feet. Nice Tog and bass. We saw a large male the size of a Nassau Grouper was amazing. She missed the shot, and in hindsight we are both happy he was just out of range. If you see that guy, let him keep doing what he does.....V.

Went Jamestown on Saturday, on incoming tide. Mixed visibility 6-10ft, and plenty of bass! Big guys are around. Shot 25# slob on a first drop and saw more later.

Newport, Sachuest pt. this morning on incoming tide - visibility 4-6ft. Tautogs, scups, small stripers. Hard to find bigger fish in murky water. Not great water condition.

WH/RI shoreline 3 toug all just shy 4# and a BSB. Vis was good enough to shoot fish. Saw some stripper that may have been 28 so passed. RRED up 20 scup. Good day on the boat.
I’m out often and always looking for crew especially on weekdays.

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

Newport on Saturday morning 5ft viz on the high tide down to soup at slack. Pretty sporty weather system.

Took home a pair of tog.

Saw lots of bait, and very active schoolies. Felt a lot like fall.
