Rok, that usually happens to me also when I go to a chinese restaurant, but I think it may have more to do with me whipping out my meat snorkel and plopping it in the hot and sour soup than bringing big tarpon to the kitchen.....

Does Papa Smurf wear that underwear when he dives or just around the camp?

Re: Big Game Hunting in the Gulf oF Mexico

Louis, thanks once again for the best trip ever! I've got an appointment with the plastic surgeon tomorrow to get the smile removed. I couldn't manage to get a big fish up to the boat but there is always next time. 190fsw on air was accomplishment enough!

I think my official statement to Paul was "7 damn years in college and I'm about to get in Lake Ponchartrain at night. Whose idea was this anyway?" as we watched you swim out to the bulkhead.

Nobody can ever say you guys haven't got balls. I'd have dropped that fish the first time it took me to the bottom murk instead of hanging on until after the twelvth.

What more can be said about Papa Smurf either? 62 years old and as hardcore as they come. I tried to keep up with him to the bottom a couple of times and it wasn't possible without carrying a few cinder blocks. I'm pretty sure there isn't a fish swimming that he wouldn't pull the trigger on either.

Lastly, anybody who thinks that an overpowered JBL with a 3/8" shaft and riding rig is not the gun to use on the rigs hasn't shot them back to back with a lesser shafted gun.

Steve.
