Open invite for a Catalina night dive on my boat

Just in time for Thanksgiving!
I am looking for a group of two or three drivers that might want to get together and join me on a trip to Catalina leaving Friday night and returning Saturday at first light. I would like to stop off at the LA break wall and shoot a few fish before returning home. This is a physically demanding trip so make sure you can hang before you decide to come along. Let me know right away if it interest you so we can make the trip happen.
Text me at 562-569-1750 so we can set up a phone call and discuss all particulars.

The wind is supposed to be very calm on Friday and also on Saturday for our return so it should be very pleasant.

...Let’s get these turkeys!!!

I love the way you say "physically demanding." Some of my close dive friends swear I tried to kill them when I first met them and now I look back and think maybe so. Have a good trip. Mike.

Funny you should mention that. More often than not, I dive with guys that are at 20 years younger than me and almost always, they tire out and go back to the boat to rest. Trouble is, that it prevent them from reaching their limit of bugs.

Re: Open invite for a Catalina night dive on my boat

Invites like this are becoming increasingly uncommon so don’t miss out.
This is an invite where we normally share in the expense of the trip equally so it is very doable.

As of Thursday at 1:30 pm, there is still room for one more so if you want to go, let me know. Nothing worse than seeing pictures of our trip knowing you could have been there.

Yes Mike, you tried to kill me. Dunno wtf I was thinking following you over a chain link fence in full scuba gear tanks and all, down a crazy ass goat trail in PV. Then getting left on the outside of the kelp bed when I thought I was low on air(when you should of told me a 1000 pounds was good to get back) to have to crawl back over the kelp all at night on my my 3rd night dive and 10th dive ever.

Re: Open invite for a Catalina night dive on my boat

The trip went every bit as good as we would hope minus the abundance of bugs. I took only two and the rest of the group took one each. We dove the outside at the West End and covered the entire eagle rock area. Everybody worked very hard to get what we did. We decided to stay after sunrise and shot a lot of fish.
It was awesome diving with this group. Everybody help clean the boat and pitched in for the trip.I can’t wait to go out with those guys one more time and catch more than we did this time.
If you missed out on this trip and want to go next time, send me a PM let me know.
