Re: Best GPS/fish finder under $1000

I just installed a Simrad GO7 this week. don't have any real-experience advice to offer quite yet but it seemed like the best bang for the buck by a fair amount. I had a Lowrance HSD5 CHIRP on my last boat and this GO7 is a big upgrade from that technology. seems like the best bang for the buck from what I've seen in that price range.

I don't know about the Go7 but I have had Simrad on my boats since around 2012 with the first NSS model came out. I had the NSS 7 then dual NSS 7 EVO2's and now an NSS 7 EVO 2 and a NSS 9 EVO 2.

By far the most user friendly and feature rich units I've used.
