Water temps in January?
Do you guys get out much this time of year? I'll be near Destin for a few weeks helping my folks out with some projects and was planning to bring my gear. I've only dove around Destin in the summer so I'm not sure what water temps are like for you guys.
My dad sold his boat a few years ago so if anyone is looking for crew, I'd love to come out and split gas. I freedive only and am comfy hunting past 100' all day. I'd also be willing to offer freedive instruction (I'm a national record holder and PFI instructor. I'm insured to teach up to 40M).

Re: Water temps in January?
Hey Lance, not in the area anymore but a full 5mm open cell or 5mm top/3mm pants got me by. If I remember correctly water temp can range from 59-64, unless in blue water it’s a little warmer ofc. Get in touch with some of the guys on IG connected to Benthic Ocean Sports, May be able to find a ride.
