Yes, bad things happen but THIS was easily preventable. How many good spearos have speared anybody else?Almost no one. I have not heard of it form anyone else but kids and a few kooks. They did do a good job saving the guy after the fact so I give them credit for that.

Does not matter how you slice it. Again - very poor technique/practice. Easily preventable. That gun should have been unloaded and the fish removed. Absolutely NO excuses.

Those are the folks who I refuse to dive with, much less be on the same boat. They are an accident waiting to happen. They are kids that needs constant babysitting.

That AJ was not worth the injury on the captain's arm. Good thing it was not the captain's head that got speared.
