just got back from marathon.. pretty milky vis.. had 15 ft on the reef before the tide started to change. the gulf water is def. cleaner then atlantic from what i saw. quick question, has anyone ever seen a cobia under 7 mile?

Went inshore today after school. vis was about 8ft

dove today off of marathon
reall real bad a hazy 7-8ft of viz at best. went to a roll off in 60', and then to a spot in 25' viz was terrible in both. somewhat of a strong current also. |

Heard the vis on the reef improved alot today from yesterday. Not sure how good though.

out of marathon.
seas 3-4 with occasional 5's no current, but a nice swell. water is lookin fairly clean but still a hazy 25-30' of viz on the reefs in 25 ft. |

Did a dive with work on Thursday on a 40-50' ledge off the long key bridge. Looked like blue water was pushing in, and vis looked deceptively blue. Had about 60' or so of vis in 50' but it was the hazy blue...not clear. Mostly a VERY minimal surface current...just enough to extend the tag line out past the boat. Nothing noteworthy on the bottom current. Temp was about 78.

went in inside the reef today vis was about 50-60ft. the vis on the reef today had to be pushing 100ft
