Re: Tournament - Panhandle Freedive Classic
May be a stupid question, but can I bring in my fish from Louisiana with my tournament registration and my Louisiana fishing license or would I need to purchase a Florida license so as not to run afoul with FWC

Re: Tournament - Panhandle Freedive Classic
Unless you had some kind of trip ticket or other way of proving they were caught out of state, my best guess is that you would need a Florida license to possess regulated fish in Florida if you were ever checked

Re: Tournament - Panhandle Freedive Classic
you shouldnt need a florida license or any special paperwork.
there were a bunch of us that traveled from LA, MS, and AL to the weigh in last year with no issues. just need a license for the state you land your fish in. this is my personal opinion and not law. its really no different than if you traveled from florida to louisiana for the weekend to fish and brought your fish home. |
