Remembering Nate over a year later.
After coast guard basic in June, I decided to visit my tattoo artist in nj thats done almost all my work on me to date.
I've heard in my time on the water growing up that the souls of those lost at sea inhabit seagulls and follow ships back to port to find their way home. I had my tattoo artist add another one to my half sleeve when he finished it up for me to remember Nate by. I miss my best friend and dive buddy terribly. Hope you're saving some big fish for me on the other side brother.

Re: Remembering Nate over 2 years later.
Heard the same type story about frigates leading sailors to food. The memory of my best friend is inked in that form on my left shoulder as well. Nice touch Andrew.

Re: Remembering Nate over 2 years later.
Nice, I'm not a tattoo fan but one that looks that good, with such deep meaning is highly respectable imo.
