BIG White Sea Bass.........And bugs to boot.

Did a dive last night for some lobster scouting around North Laguna, in about 55 feet. Bugs everywhere. The tide was extremely low, with very overcast skies, and the temp was 61 at 55 feet. Bugs were seen from 15 feet down to 65 feet, with visability about 15 foot.

We dropped down into a big crack in the reef. It dropped to 78 feet, and at the bottom were 2 HUGE white sea bass, I could estimate around 40-50#. Ive never seen fish this big while diving local. If I only had my Tuna Cannon with me(crappy AB Biller gun) I would have some tasty steaks for my freezer.
We are going back tonight to hopefully bag these monsters.
We ran out of gas at the mouth of Dana Harbor on the way in last night. DUH....Good thing I have paddles.

Pray for bugs.

Tricky devils

Bugs must obey the inscrutable exhortations according to the capricious whims of Mother Nature.
