A steady SW wind will totally destroy any visibility in Buzzards Bay. It can take forever to clear up too. I've just decided that 2 foot of vis is what I work best in and I keep diving. I don't know what to do when I hit good vis however. Hahaha

Scallop diving three weeks ago. Water very cold. I'll be back up there once tog closes or viz becomes unbearable in RI. Buzzards bay had 15ft of viz last Saturday. We all limited on togs.

free diving for scallops? what depth? I am thinking of heading out on the northshore tomorrow and see if I can scare up a decent number of flounder and tog

Variable vis, but improving as the tide came up around sakonnet. 52 degrees.
6-10 foot or so.
