Boston Kill and Grill (July edition)

Hi all,

Its been over a month since the last kill and grill and I thought it would be a good time to set one up for end of July. Gonna throw out July 27th and see how many people can make it. I have a nice spot in mind with a good number of parking spots (free) if you arrive before 9, Doliber cove in Marblehead. Kayaks can easily be put in here and there is plenty of shore diving available too.

So let me know if you can make it and what you would be able to bring.

I will bring a charcoal grill and charcoal and plates forks n knives and cups.

Mark

I'll be there with my gas grill, blue cups and BKG beverages...oh, and I'll probably cook something as usual!

C'mon Christian...where are you?

That's more like it!

Christian bring the rod as you are sure to run into some Stripers near shore at this location. Also feel free to post to the Boston divers group on FB

I may try and get a few non spearos to attend and maybe they can whip up some sides.

Hey Christian!...It's on Sunday!!!!! I'll probably whip up some marinated churrasco kabobs (in honor of Javi!) with some chimichurri sauce (homemade) to go with the "catch of the day" and I'm taking a little "show and tell" surprise...

Re: Boston Kill and Grill (July edition)

there is a small island open to the public about 600 feet from shore in the cove that is accessible by walking at low tide. I was thinking of having the grilling there. Last time I shore dove this location I swam around the island and back in so it wouldn't be hard to get to w/o a boat even if the tide is in

Re: Boston Kill and Grill (July edition)

there is a small beach on Beacon st in marblhead that is in dolliber cove. parking is on beacon right next to the beach. i figure we can meet at 8am and get a 3hour dive in before going to the island for the grill. I will get there early so just look for my fj cruiser near the beach for the parking.
