Me...I would fly back, look at the boat, close the deal and rent a U-haul pickup and head back for sunny CA with my new bargain....sometimes, some telephone calls back and forth will give you a hint on whether the seller is honest or a hustler dumping a mess on you...Most important of all is an inspection of the trailer...Are the bearings, tires and axles up to a 2,000 mile plus trip? Will it be insured enroute and who is responsible if there is an accident, God forbid, with an injury or death involved....insurance to protect you and your assets should always be numero uno on the list of "To Do" items...

Thanks Bob,

that's about what i thought it takes, i thought you guys had a magic crystal ball. Anyway i went and saw the ventura revenge, pretty nice but dirty and been sitting for long time, i found and went with a Skipjack 20 from San Diego area, super clean, mostly original with Volvo Penta 350 and a 280 outdrive. Now looking for a Hard top to complete it.

If you take the Outrage hull and put a front deck on it with a windshield, essentially thats the Revenge , at least on the early Revenge models.
