Suits?
Im planning on diving year round and was wondering what mil suits you guys are using?
I have been progressively diving more and more but havent needed the full suit yet. Is 3.5 mil open cell adequit? I will be diving the jetties and offshore any tips would be apreciated. |

Re: Suits?
Jetty will be colder than offshore. Offshore water rarely gets below 70° so its usual the ride out and back that's the worst part of the trip. I have used a 3mm two piece in the winter and rarely get cold. Just plan ahead a way to stay dry on the way home.

Re: Suits?
Like josh mentioned jetty will be around 60 in winter and offshore stays around 68 out past 200 ..the closer to shore the colder, 3.5 is good choice all around, but you will feel the cold inshore..good luck and be safe ..

Re: Suits?
Thanks, I still love jetty diving so I might end up with two suits.... Or maybe a 3.5 and a thick vest for around the jetties
